Ringwood EmbroidMe wins top honour

EmbroidMe Ringwood franchise owners Frank and Nancy Conte took out the group’s Franchisee of the Year gong at the franchise’s conference held in Sydney.

Having joined the group in 2005, the eastern Melbourne franchisees were inducted into the EmbroidMe Hall of Fame in 2012, though this is first time they have taken out Franchise of the Year.

Evan Foster, national director of EmbroidMe’s parent United Franchise Group says the recognition is overdue.

“When we looked through the records, I was surprised to find out that Frank and Nancy had not actually won the award before,” he says. “They have been some of the best performers of the franchise since they joined over ten years ago, as well as some of the best citizens.”

The accolade was presented to the Conte’s at the group’s seventh Australasian Conference, which saw franchisees from across Australia and New Zealand gather in Sydney.

EmbroidMe specialises in uniform, embroidery, screen printing and promotional products, with 55 stores across Australia, and more than 300 worldwide.
