Ryobi scores US award

Ryobi’s RMGT Series 9 LED-UV press has scored the US-based Must See ‘Em award in conjunction with its public showing at Graph Expo 2016.

The five colour press uses LED-UV curing and SmartRPC technology, and will be churning out jobs in live demonstrations during Graph Expo in Florida next week.

Cyber Australia resells Ryobi locally, and the supplier says the RMGT 9 series offers a suite of newly developed automation technology which improves user interface and ensures consistent operation at full production speed.

The oppress has a multiple video camera system (up to 10) that provides real time monitoring of all major press functions; provides 15-minute instant replay of the camera monitoring; and a WiFi enabled hand held tablet that mirrors the 55” video monitor and allows touch screen interface with the press video monitor. The 55” Display System is the platform for the PQS inspection, colour and registration system, available from January

There is also an automated press adjustment module that provides an instant calibration testing for all ink roller and other pressure adjustments.

The press is available from January, it will be on display from September 25 to 28 at Florida’s Graph Expo 16.

This is the third consecutive year Ryobi has received recognition with the Must See ‘Em award. Its previous award winning technologies include its LED UV curing, SmartRPC and Insta-Colour.
