This decision by Sign-A-Rama management delivers numerous benefits to the Sign-A-Rama stores including the ability to increase production capacity due to the faster printing speed of the Epson Stylus Pro 10600CF, higher image quality and thicker media support.

Craig Heckenberg, Epson Professional Graphics Division business unit manager, says, “The introduction of the Epson Stylus Pro 10600CF allows Sign-A-Rama customers not only a wider choice of substrates and substantially wider prints at 44 inches, but also one ink type for both indoor and outdoor use.

“The Stylus Pro 10600CF uses Epson’s patented ColorFastTM pigment based ink. Epson ColorFast Ink delivers much smaller and more uniform pigment particles than conventional pigment ink, while at the same time encapsulating each pigment particle in resin. The result is magnificent rich, bright colour output previously unseen with pigment ink.”

According to Epson, ColorFast Ink is lightfast for up to 200 years on selected Epson substrates for indoor use or up to 2 years in outdoor use, when laminated.

“The impact of being able to use one ink for both indoor and outdoor use has a significant impact on the profitability of the Sign-A-Rama stores,” says Heckenberg.
“It saves a lot of time being able to simply load your paper and print, without having to swap over inks when you change between indoor and outdoor print jobs.”
