This next generation of Logotec’s equipment is designed to make the task of plate making cleaner and more economical. The Two types of filtration units available locally are a plate processor developer filtration unit, and a plate processor wash water filtration unit for silver-based CTP plate processors.
Both units are fitted to plate processing equipment and are designed to capture suspended particles, thereby extending developer life and reducing the frequency of processor cleaning and maintenance.
The developer filtration unit can be used with thermal (DITP), photopolymer and analogue plates, and is compatible with most brands of plate processors including Agfa, Kodak and Glunz & Jensen.
David Hutchinson, Siltech International CEO, says, “Logotec equipment is reliable and well-engineered. The addition of these plate developer filtration units expands our product portfolio and re-connects our business with those printers and newspapers that use CTP (computer to plate) technology exclusively”.
Barry Moore, Siltech International general manager, says the first equipment shipment has arrived on Australian shores and trials are already underway with two leading Australian newspapers
“Logotec equipment is designed with the busy, high-volume plate maker in mind and can easily handle the high-volume, high-performance customers. Operators utilising this equipment can also enjoy full product servicing and support via our national team of field technicians.”
