Size matters at KBA

It has recently installed the biggest press in the country, a 2.05m wide sheetfed Rapida at Visy Glama in Sydney, and has several other major presses already installed in newspaper, commercial web and sheetfed.

On the stand Stefan Segger, managing director and sales director of KBA Asia Pacific, NL Chin, web sales director KBA Australasia, and Dave Lewis, sheetfed manager Australasia were discussing the benefits of KBA printing solutions. These ncluded the half size Rapida 75 with advanced automated makeready; the B1 Rapida 106 with embeddable JDF workflow; the large format 130-162a presses, which are the only machines of their size to come with the option of perfecting

Finally printers were taken through the economic benefits of the very large format 180-205cm machines, which print onto sheets up to 2.05m wide, and up to 1.6mm thick.
