Rodney Frost, the CEO of Lamson Group, has supported the Vinnies CEO Sleepout for many years and tonight he will spend another night sleeping on cardboard on a frosty winter’s night to raise money for a cause he is deeply passionate about.
Frost, along with TRMC CEO Kellie Northwood and SOS Print + Media GM Michael Schulz are part of the The Real Media Collective’s Vinnies CEO Sleepout team which has a $35,000 fundraising goal to help those who have no place to call home.

So far the team have raised a whopping $32,301 which is a tremendous achievement.
“In the last 18 months homelessness has spiked and it is frightening. In the age brack of 18-35 the increase has been 92%! Overall the increase is 43%, these are people with loved ones and they need our help,” Frost said.
“Forget the numbers, these are people. Tens of thousands. One of the main reasons for the increase is failed businesses that people have put everything into. The businesses have failed, the families have broken down and some have resorted to drugs and alcohol. Mental health issues arise and the cycle kicks off. These people need a hand up and an opportunity to fight back.
