The Sprinter Podcast: Women in Print to host Print and Prosecco Qld event on Oct 19

Women in Print in Queensland has scheduled its Print and Prosecco event for October 19 in Brisbane.

Women in Print Queensland patron Morag Pugh told Sprinter that the event will take place at The Lawn Bar + Café in Kangaroo Point, Brisbane from 5.30pm and will cover subjects such as connect, engage, and lead.

“This links back into the pillars of Women in Print. It’s a great community event. Print and Prosecco is a new initiative and is the result of our community within our industry seeking more networking opportunities,” she said.

“One of my goals as Queensland patron is to expand our networking series and this Print and Prosecco event is a part of that. I want to see more young females enter the industry as well as strengthen and broaden our existing membership.”

Several interesting speakers have been engaged to help facilitate the event – Amanda Philp, who is an engagement professional, and Teresa O’Shea who is a strategic leadership and capability professional.

“From this Print and Prosecco event, attendees can learn how to connect with other businesses, engage with other people and lead in their roles. There will be plenty of tips whether you are a business owner, an industry leader, production worker or receptionist,” Pugh mentioned.

“Those are all great skills that you can cross-pollinate within your every day.”

Tickets are available at $44 per person and can be purchased here.
