Universal Print Partners secures trans-Tasman agency for OMET web kit

OMET sales director Marco Calcagni (left) said UPP, which also represents other international machinery manufacturers, has the industry experience and service capabilities to increase local awareness of his company’s “innovative technology”.

UPP director Tim Stafford (centre) said he established the Melbourne-based technology and services firm three years ago to bring “true value” in return-on-investment programmes to the packaging industry.

“Therefore, in conjunction with UPP’s other key partners, we could ask for no better press manufacturer than OMET to take us forward,” he said.

“Furthermore, the technology ranges, support structure/back-up and lean manufacturing principles that OMET now brings to Australasia will most definitely have a fundamental affect on our marketplace.”

Other brands represented by UPP, which partners with service provider Gulmen Engineering, include AB Graphic International and Karlville Automation.
