Velflex showcases heat transfer expertise at Visual Impact

Velflex has arrived at this year’s edition of Visual Impact in Sydney with a wide range of demo equipment to showcase its expertise in heat transfer and garment customisation.

The company exhibits a wide range of products for single and full-colour heat transfers, including products, including Stahls Hotronix presses and DTF machines.

Veflex team: Zoe Goding, Amy Vernon, Ben Carroll, Nicola Lynch and Yvonne Rae

Velfex managing director Ben Carroll said, “We have our ultra-colour, the hot and cold peel that we’re demonstrating here and showing the difference in the finishes between the hot and the cold applications.

“We are also showcasing our DTF machine. This is the first Australian-engineered and designed DTF sheet-fed purpose-built machine. It’s designed and made by Impression Technology here in Frenchs Forest.”

Visitors to the Velflex stand can also see the benefits and differences between printing detailed transfers on intermittent sheet printers and continuous roll-to-roll technologies.

Carroll will also be hosting a seminar on Friday, May 5, at 2 pm, where under the theme of “Expand your offering with heat transfer”, he will explore garment customisation.

According to Carroll, it is one of the fastest-growing sectors of the print industry, and many businesses are looking at how to get on board.

He will explore how heat transfer enables printers to utilise their existing skills to introduce a lucrative revenue stream with minimal investment.
