The 2022 Women in Print Breakfast series starts in just a few days, and venue details have been released by organisers.

The first of the series will take place in Brisbane on 5 May, at The Inchcolm by Ovolo in Spring Hill, Queensland. The event will follow on in Melbourne on 6 May at Leonda by Yarra in Hawthorn, Victoria.

Adelaide will host the Breakfast series on 10 May at Jarmer’s Kitchen in Bowden, SA, while
Perth will see the event take place on 11 May at the Crown Perth in Burswood, WA.

The series will conclude in Sydney on 12 May, at the Waterview at Bicentennial Park (Sydney Olympic Park), NSW.

Patrons across the states are expecting good numbers as the world is well and truly opened up.

The keynote for the 2022 breakfast series will be delivered by Lisa Smith from Minds@Work, focusing on the topic of Thinking Differently, covering:

  • The more expert we become in the way things are (best practice) it’s harder to see how things could be (next practice)
  • Tapping into creative thinking to push how we approach challenges differently, and
  • Unpacking complex problems to simple solutions when implementing change.

“We have all endured challenging years in recent times, learning how to address these challenges with a different mindset to simplify our problem-solving skills will be a critical tool for future leadership and we wanted all the women across the industry to be empowered with these skills for their professional and personal lives,” Women in Print chair Susan Heaney said.

The breakfast series brings together female leaders and future leaders together to learn, share and support each other.

“Women in Print is an established community and the networking and knowledge from the breakfast events each year is impressive. This year will be no different, I sat with the keynote, Lisa Smith, last week and was blown away by the content. I am really excited to have these skills passed onto our Women in Print community,” The Real Media Collective CEO Kellie Northwood added.
