The biggest new printer on show was the Canon Arizona 660GT UV flatbed, described by Canon’s southern region manager Dale Hawkins as providing versatility and quality.

Hawkins says, “Commercial offset printers are amongst the biggest buyers of Arizona, and are doing so in increasing numbers.”

With speeds of up to 60sqm per hour, it is designed for graphics professionals with a production potential in excess of 10,000sqm per year. Productivity is further enhanced by the new six zone vacuum system eliminating time-consuming table masking for standard sized jobs. A time-saving batch mode is provided for the efficient production of complex jobs.
