Visual Media Association launches Power of Print webinar series

The Visual Media Association (VMA) has announced the launch of its new eight-week webinar series, P.o.P (Power of Print) Summit 2024, with speakers, topics, and dates confirmed.

This years’ summit will cover topics such as HR/IR legislative changes, the importance of mental wellbeing in the workforce, packaging, cyber security, and more.

Each webinar will be a one-hour educational deep-dive into each topic, held across eight weeks starting on Wednesday, 15 March.

After each event, a series of class notes will be available for participants with all the key facts from each individual webinar

The series will commence with the following topics:

HR/IR – People and policy (Week 1: Wednesday 15 March)

Charles Watson, Visual Media Association, will discuss the top five industrial relations issues members are currently enquiring about. Each topic will elaborate and explain the related aspects in-depth to create a better awareness for you and your business. Watson will also discuss industry relevant aspects of the amendments to the Fair Work Act, Closing Loopholes Bills, Respect@Work, and more.

Mental wellbeing – The road and resources to mental wellness (Week 2: Wednesday 20th March)

Steven Gamble, Man Anchor, will examine how our mental health is just as critical and should be provided as much priority as our physical health. Gamble will discuss how leaders, managers, employees, and industry can continue to manage their mental health in a fast paced era, focusing on tangible ways to achieve mental wellness.

Leadership – Championing leaders in your business (Week 3: Wednesday 27th March)

Christina Bruce, Sellabilities, will outline the proactive steps to take in your business to champion diverse leadership. Gain insights and understanding around unconscious bias and empowering the future leaders within your business.

  • Week 4: Wednesday 3 April – Packaging
  • Week 5: Wednesday 10 April – Carbon mapping and sustainability
  • Week 6: Wednesday 17 April – Cyber security
  • Week 6: Wednesday 24 April – The letterbox
  • Week 8: Wednesday 1 May – Skills and training

VMA will release more information around the speakers presenting at the Power of Print Summit 2024 as the event progresses.
