VMA annoucnes strategic partnership with Ecocrave

The Visual Media Association (VMA) has announced a strategic partnership with sustainability consultancy firm, Ecocrave.

Through this partnership, VMA members will gain access to Ecocrave’s consulting services, including a free introductory session designed to identify sustainability gaps and chart a clear path toward achieving Sustainable Green Print (SGP) certification across Levels 1 to 3 and beyond.

Kellie Northwood, CEO, Visual Media Association said, “Sustainability is no longer a trend – it’s an imperative for business success. Our partnership with Ecocrave brings a new level of support for our members, ensuring they can confidently align their practices with industry and community expectations, while unlocking opportunities for operational efficiency and brand growth”.

Ecocrave brings a wealth of experience in helping Australian businesses reduce their environmental impact while implementing eco-friendly practices that are practical, cost-effective, and aligned to commercial goals.

Kane Annesley, founder of Ecocrave, said, “Growing up in a family of printers, I’ve seen first-hand the challenges and opportunities sustainability presents to the industry. Our approach is about equipping businesses with strategies that work – not just for the environment but also for long-term profitability. We’re thrilled to partner with the VMA and look forward to supporting their members with actionable insights and guidance”.

To further educate and engage the industry, Annesley will headline an upcoming Power of Print (P.o.P) webinar, “The Business Case for Sustainable Solutions in Print”.  This free event will explore how sustainable practices can reduce costs, enhance brand reputation, and drive new business opportunities.

In addition to the sustainability partnership, the VMA is proud to remind members of its broader Better Business Tools offering. Accessible via the VMA Member Lounge, these tools include comprehensive business resources and exclusive member discounts across areas such as sales training, insurance, financial management, and operational reviews.

“Our Better Business Tools are designed to provide real value to our members’ bottom lines,” said  Northwood.

“From sustainability initiatives like Ecocrave to financial health checks and workforce development, we’re ensuring our members are future ready.”
