Wasp rises from Perth merger

Operating out of new headquarters at Nedlands, the company is the first of its kind for Western Australia, offering management and coordination of signage, screen printing, point-of-sale and inhouse design and production facilities. Wasp involves itself with the full process from design concepts to final production and ongoing online sign management.

According to Simon Church, Wasp director, the new business has already experienced strong levels of interest from the industry and the amalgamated set of clients.

“Having worked in the sign and print management industry for some 20 years, I have learnt what works and what doesn’t, and most importantly what is needed to provide an increasingly efficient service to clients,” says Church.

“Our major concern was the missing link between client, advertising agencies, designers and the sign companies producing the finished product. This lack of communication can often result in mistakes an delayed delivery times. Drawing on our extensive industry knowledge and the ability to recommend proven solutions to various projects, we have managed to fill the gaps by controlling the entire process.”

Peter Gardner, Wasp director believes that the integration of management and what it believes to be a one-of-a-kind production facility is the key to the company’s success.

“At the end of the day, the benefit to clients are a cost effective signage solution, continuity of corporate image, quality control and personal service from highly experienced staff,” says Gardner.

“Wasp will continue to raise the benchmark within the industry, including some very innovative and exciting new product and software launches in the near future.”
