Women in Print expands Breakfast Series to Canberra

Women in Print, the leading industry body advocating for women professionals in the print sector, has announced the expansion of its annual Breakfast Series to include Canberra this year.

With the addition of Canberra, Women in Print now extends its reach to almost every state and territory in Australia.

This year, the series will feature Christina Bruce, Founder and CEO of Sellabilities, as the keynote speaker. Bruce will delve into the theme of ‘The B❒X’ where participants are led through a process of self-exploration of their thinking, and then create their own model for that new thinking that enables new possibilities and results.

Bruce brings more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, making her a prominent figure in the industry.

The Women in Print Breakfast Series will take place across Australia in seven capital cities starting on 30 April and concluding on 8 May. Canberra will take place on 7 May, running at the same time as the Sydney event.

With a team of volunteers from Instant Colour Press in Belconnen, ACT, Women in Print Chair, Stephanie Gaddin, will open the Canberra event, which will live-stream the keynote from Sydney.

Following the breakfast, Gaddin and Victorian patron, Rita Karagiannis, will assist the Canberra volunteers in forming an ACT committee and will receive the formal application for an ACT Patron.

“I am privileged to support all women in our industry and drive the expansion of Women in Print in Canberra,” said Stephanie Gaddin, honorary chair of Women in Print.

“We look forward to meeting Canberran talent at the breakfast next month, and I am excited to work alongside our community to foster personal and career growth and inclusivity across multiple spheres.”

The Women in Print Breakfast Series continues to be a not-for-profit initiative, supported by sponsors and partners. Cactus Imaging has also confirmed the continuation of its sponsorship, taking up a Women in Print Ally Sponsorship.

“As Women in Print expands its footprint to encompass Canberra, I am deeply appreciative of the enduring support from our industry allies,” said Gaddin.

“The collaborative efforts of our partners contribute significantly to the advancement of women professionals in the print sector. We extend a warm invitation to our all in the broader community to join us at the Breakfast Series, where together, we can forge stronger connections, share insights, and champion inclusivity within our industry.”

Tickets are selling fast across the country, as companies snap up tables and groups of tickets, all tickets for all cities are available here, with Canberra tickets now available.

Sponsorship opportunities for the 2024 series are still available, with sponsorship closing at the end of April.
