World Printers Forum hosts virtual World Print Summit

The World Association of Newspapers Publishers is hosting a virtual World Print Summit from May 18-19 as the newsprint market continues to face.

The summit will feature a number of keynotes, including one from UPM Communication Papers senior vice president global sales, Ruud van den Berg on the subject of ‘Newsprint Challenges and the Future’.

Gundula Ullah, the chief procurement & sustainability officer, at Funke Mediengruppe, Germany will discuss ‘Sustainable Procurement for Newspaper Production’.

Ingi Olafsson, director of World Printers Forum, WAN-IFRA, Germany will also deliver the World Printers Forum Outlook 2022. Every year WAN-IFRA sends out a survey to its print production members asking about the status of various issues regarding the newspaper industry. The presentation will be a brief summary of this report. All members of WAN-IFRA can download this report in the member area on the WAN-IFRA webpage
