X-Rite Pantone enjoys ‘excellent’ Drupa 2012

Senior vice president of sales Vic Stalam said Drupa 2012 had given the company the chance to demonstrate the breadth of its portfolio and that it had been particularly pleased with the level of interest in its X-Rite eXact handheld colour measurement tool, which has been updated to include new touch-screen technology.

He added: “In addition to excellent lead generation, we were happy with the high level of traffic through our stand, as well as the revenue we generated at the show.”

Other products demonstrated by the company included the cloud-based Pantone Live colour management tool, which is aimed at the packaging sector and was launched in March.

It was announced in April that X-Rite Pantone had agreed to be acquired by Danaher Corporation in a $625m deal that would enable the former to work closely with other Danaher-owned companies, including VideoJet and Esko.
