Excell has operated from Batemans Bay four the last four years through Print Central, which has now merged with Bayprint at a new location in Batemans Bay , Alan Mogridge, co-owner, Excell Printing told Australian Printer, “We purchased Bayprint to expand our business and it was perfect for us as we already had a print shop in Batemans Bay. The two have now merged and are located at a new premise.”
Excell Print has a staff of 20 across its sites which includes those of Bay Print. It has a Pambula site with offset equipment which includes a Heidelberg four-colour Speedmaster SM 52 with coater and a Kodak Magnus 400 Quantom CTP system.
Excell Batemans Bay has a Fuji Xerox 700, Mimaki JV33 and an Epson Stylus Pro 9900, while Excell Merimbula has a Fuji Xerox DocuColour 5065.
Mogridge says, “Our client base has now obviously grown since the acquisition and we expect further growth.”
Mogridge bought Excell with his wife Ann in 1998, when it just operated the Pambula shop and has since seen the business expand with a Merimbula site opened in 2000 and another Batemans Bay company Print Central which was bought in 2008 and then merged with the Bateman’s Bay operation.
