The trade body’s executive officer, Garry Knespal (pictured), said: “We congratulate BJ Ball Papers for being the first paper distributor to come on board for this prestigious industry event.”
Knespal said the Printovation Awards celebrated the innovation, creativity and high quality of print.
There are five categories covering wide-format, offset/web, digital (non-variable data), digital (variable/direct marketing/cross-media), online marketing and general.
“The whole thing is to promote innovation and the way people have pushed the envelope and we are expecting more high-quality entries this year,” added Knespal.

The awards take place in Melbourne on 13 September to coincide with GASAA’s PrintCom trade fair, which is co-locating with Visual Impact Image Expo, Marketing at Retail Expo 11, Retail 2011.
Last year’s winners were Look Print, Fluoro Publications, Print Portal, Watermarx Graphics and Royle Industries.
