Canon Australia has launched a new colour press series – the imagePRESS C10010VP range – which is made up of two new models, which it says are designed to drive versatility, high-quality imaging and productivity in high-volume print environments.
The two new models have been released in the series are the imagePRESS C10010VP and the imagePRESS C9010VP.
The imagePRESS C10010VP is said to deliver high-performance, deadline-driven printing via consistent high-speeds and high-quality outputs for brilliant outcomes, with minimal effort. The imagePRESS C9010VP digital press is capable of high productivity print speeds of up to 92 pages per minute, while the imagPRESS C10010VP can produce 102 pages per minute on A4 sized sheets.
The machines feature advanced technology including the Ultrasonic Multi-Sheet Feed Detection, active front-to-back registration and Inline Spectrometric Sensor (ILS) for simple colour adjustments.
Canon’s Dual Fixing Unit maintains productivity even when different media of mixed weights and textures are used for the same job.
There is also an optional long-sheet paper input module.
High volume print users can now introduce auto-duplex printing on media up to 762mm, feeing 1,000 sheets through Canon POD Deck XL.
Synthetic media support
The printers also allow users to offer customers more durable and water-resistant applications.
This includes long-sheet media up to 1300mm for a wider range of marketing collateral, in addition to offering different media weights between 60 and 400 gsm.
Canon says high-image quality is assured due to the heritage Canon imagePRESS series.
The company says thanks to its R-VCSEL technology, Multi-D.A.T. colour adjustment and versatile screen patterns, users confidently deliver a diverse range of high-quality applications, from menus to mailers and from books to long-sheet banners.
It added that the unique structure of CV Toner offers superior durability and higher transfer performance, so users can benefit from even higher precision for text and images on every page of every run.
