Canon hosting Innovation Day

Canon Australia will be hosting wide format innovation days around Australia showcasing its newest wide format printer the Océ Colorado 1640.

The Wide Format Innovation Days showcase takes Canon’s suite of professional print capabilities to businesses around the country. The exhibit brings together professional printers, as well as product and industry experts, to inspire, discuss and share ideas to reimagine Australia’s printing industry.

Canon says it is also a great opportunity to see firsthand the latest technologies from Canon in action.

The events will showcase the new Océ Colorado 1640's UVgel technology. Canon says it is designed to deliver unprecedented productivity and reduce ink consumption by up to 40 per cent, and claims the Océ Colorado 1640 is set to revolutionise 64” roll-to-roll sign and display printing.

Garry Muratore, product manager for display graphic market at Canon Australia says, “Innovation is important to our customers. Our Wide Format Innovation Days bring together passionate business owners to share their stories and ideas, hear from industry experts to redefine what’s possible and discover new ways to grow their businesses.”

Muratore will also be presenting at the Innovation Days.

The first Innovation Day was held yesterday in Melbourne, the next will be in Adelaide on September 27 from 4.30pm to 8.30pm, Perth will be on October 11 4.30pm to 8.30pm, Sydney will be on October 25 from 8.30am to 11.30m or 4.30pm to 8.30pm, and lastly Brisbane will be on November 1 from 8.30am to 11.30am or 4.30pm to 8.30pm.
