Creo users get sneak preview of drupa offering

The CUA hosted the conference February 25-28 in Creo’s hometown where the company demonstrated its new prepress workflow solutions that streamline operations and expand integration, including the latest version of the Prinergy workflow management system, and Synapse Link software.

The new low-cost, PDF processing system, Prinergy Evo workflow, was also on show.

“This was a great CUA conference,” says Ron Barnett of Hatcher Press. “Creo has made some great improvements in their products and in their consumable offerings. Prinergy 2.3 and Prinergy Evo were way cool!

“Synapse Link has made some great strides. It was a very encouraging event, and I am very excited about implementing what I learned at the best users’ conference in our industry”.

The CUA conference programme included a new executive track that presented business information and tools for CEOs, owners and managers. The learning track focused on increasing the productivity of operators of Creo systems.

Users of Creo systems from around the world attended the annual conference to exchange information with industry peers, participate in strategic and technical sessions, and meet with Creo developers and management.

Delegates also toured Creo manufacturing and R&D facilities. Representatives of Apple Computer, Inc. and Adobe Systems Incorporated hosted technical sessions.

The next CUA conference is scheduled for May 18-21, 2005 in Florida, USA.

The Creo Users Association is an independent worldwide network of users of Creo systems which promotes effective communication between users, Creo developers and the company leadership.
