Comments coming back from proofing customers using 4245 have been extremely positive with its improved press matching characteristics and suitability to a wide variety of printing processes.”

DES will add the approved stock to its existing range of 3DAP approved papers demonstrating, it says, the high standard of its professional media range.

The purpose of the FOGRA Graphic Technology Research Association is to promote research into, and the development and application of printing technology, and to make the results available to the printing industry. In order to achieve these goals the association has its own institute with a staff of around 50 engineers, chemists, physicists and other experts.
