Digital Information debuts at drupa 2004

In the Preproofer x600, Digital Information is launching the first automatic, double-sided proof system based on the successful Epson Stylus Pro 7600 and 9600 printers. No matter whether you need sheets in four- or eight-page format, both the Epson 7600-linked and the Epson 9600-linked x600 systems produce double-sided proofs or form plots through user-friendly technology. At drupa, the Epson Stylus Pro 7600 version will be on display.

InkZone Line is an innovative tool for sheetfed offset printing machines of various brands, allowing direct online ink zone setting of the highest accuracy. The core of the system is X-Rite’s densitometric measurement technology for automatic colour bar reading on whole sheets. InkZone Line calculates correction values and transmits them directly to the printing machine’s control desk. This effective closed loop solution is well suited to most printing machines, including those dating from the last millennium.

Meanwhile, Digital Information invites drupa visitors to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the fair: in partnership with Carrera, a leading manufacturer of slot car speedways, Digital Information will be setting up exciting model car races on its stand, with visitors having the chance to win a VIP invitation to the 24 hours race at Le Mans.
