Digitalpress installs Walcar’s OKI white printer

Innovative print business Digitalpress in Surry Hills, Sydney, has installed an OKI Pro9542dn supplied by Walcar Graphics.

According to Walcar the team of creative graphic designers whose expertise has made Digitalpress a leader in innovative and leading edge graphic design in the Printing Industry were impressed by the latest OKI Pro9542dn which comes with the addition of white, and specifically  the sharp 1200 x 1200 dpi print quality, speed and media flexibility (up to 360gsm). This combined with the ability to print a full range of process colours with the addition of white is very much suited to add value and offer specialised printing to complement large volume production print runs.

Theo Pettaras, head of the creative team at Digitalpress says, “With a single pass of white-under CMYK the OKI Pro9542dn stretches design boundaries to a new creative height, enabling vibrant CMYK prints on dark stock with perfect registration.”

Walcar says the OKI’s ability to print a brighter white and do so on increasingly challenging media are also advantages for the comparatively low price point.
