The Rho 900 is a 2.5m-wide machine that features an automatic feed table and a wider colour gamut.
The 216 square metre per hour press adds orange and green or orange and violet inks to CMYK to extend the colour gamut and make it easier to reproduce brand colours.
According to Durst, the additional colours help to output high image quality at high print speeds, producing smooth gradients and more even solids.
The automatic feeder enables two boards to be printed side-by-side and uses an automatic two-point registration system to ensure front-to-back registration.
