Epson holds debut Product Expo

Epson held its first Product Expo in western Sydney in November, over two days in Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club in Colebee, and says there will be more to come.

The Colebee event featured the company’s complete range of solutions in signage, photography, proofing, production, dye sublimation, direct to garment and technical printing.

There was also a door prize available, an Epson Workforce ET4550, which was won by Jean-Claude Lacroix.

Nathan Fulcher, product and marketing manager, Epson, says, “The ET4550 does not use cartridges, it uses a tank of ink. It is the top of the range, latest model for that. We say there is at least two years of ink out of the box. In most cases it will last a lot longer.

“The product expo was succesful, got a good number of people through, and good feedback on the western Sydney location making it easier for people to get out there.

“Watch this space for further Epson Product Expos over the next year or two.

“We also spoke about CoverPlus service packs, in which everything is covered, servicing, call outs, parts, for up to five years.”

Epson says, “The signage department was represented by the industry leading SureColor S80600 and S60600 printers while fabric will have demos from the SureColor F2000 (DTG) and the brand new high-speed SureColor F9360 printers. Premium photo, fine art, poster and graphics production were represented by the SureLab D700, and the SureColor P20070, P9070 and award winning P5070. Finally, technical and CAD had the SureColor T5200 demonstrating its printing capabilities in those areas.

Craig Heckenberg, general manager, Business Division, Epson Australia, says, “Visitors to this Product Expo were the first to see the brand new SureColor F9360, a large format dye sublimation fabric printer from Epson. We demonstrated industrial-level productivity for digital dye-sublimation transfers for a range of polyester textile applications including soft signage and apparel. Also never before seen at one of these expos will be our ColorWorks TM-C3500 and TM-C7500 desktop digital label printers and a selection of POS receipt printers.”
