Free Print Forum offers employment incentives

Printing Industries in conjunction with other major employer groups
will host the function which will cover all government funding and incentive
programs that employers can benefit from starting with apprentice and
traineeship incentives through to assistance schemes for mature age
workers.

Printing Industries
general manager NSW, Robert Fuller, said the February 14 date was deliberately
chosen to coincide with the staff planning cycle of businesses.

He says, "Many companies
are revising their business plans and planning their recruitment strategies at
this time of the year, so this provides the perfect opportunity to find out how
government assistance may reduce their staff costs across a whole range of
areas."

The free forum will cover:
Upskilling existing workers Apprenticeships and Traineeships.Government
incentives and funding, The Australian Government's 'Career Advice Australia'
Program.

Fuller says, "With skills
shortage being such a hot topic and so much information around, it is sometimes
hard to know where to start..

"This forum will give you
a chance to get the latest information and ask questions on anything you want
to know about government assistance for employers."

The free forum is
sponsored by the Australian Government and is being held in conjunction with
Career Advice Australia
in partnership with the Communications ITAB (NSW).
