The training courses to be held the Fuji Xerox National Education Centre, Mascot Sydney, throughout September, will initially comprise of six courses, covering introductory and intermediate knowledge for the software programs Photoshop CS2, and InDesign CS2, as well as an introductory course to GoLive CS2.

Production workflow marketing manager for Fuji Xerox Australia, Eliot Harper, says the partnership has been formed to meet the changing needs of creative professionals in the graphic arts industry.

“Our customers have been asking us how they can truly leverage the creative flexibility of Adobe software in a digital print environment,” he says. “Hence our decision to partner with McHugh Digital Graphics and meet the needs for training, specifically in an environment where users now have the flexibility to create highly personalised communication pieces.”

Harper says Fuji Xerox has been offering personalisation software solutions that integrate with the Adobe CS family for quite some time now, enabling users to create highly personalised documents, as well as images, graphics and cross-media marketing campaigns.

By expanding their knowledge of creative suite products, Harper says, creative professionals will facilitate the development of more business opportunities in digital printing.

“We became aware that users wanted a better understanding of how they can leverage these personalisation solutions with Adobe Creative Suite. With appropriate software training and with the flexibility of the Creative Suite, creative professionals can now develop new applications and find additional business opportunities for digital printing,” says Harper.
