Fujifilm creates bespoke print

The system enables visitors to create personalised A4 brochures on the spot, which are then populated with relevant information before being printed and finished.

Customers scan their business card, select applications they are interested in and their typical consumables usage, and the system then selects personalised information on presses and consumables, as well as the environmental impact of their operating standards.

The brochures are printed on a Xerox DocuColor 7002 and finished on a Duplo System 445.

“Ipex visitors are collecting a massive amount of information as they tour round the show. This enables each individual to focus in on the specific products that are of interest to them,” said Graham Leeson, European marketing communications manager at Fujifilm.

The group hopes to make the system available online by the end of the year, allowing its customers to create a PDF that will be printed and sent out to the client within 24 hours.
