Brisbane-based outfit G2 Solutions is now sole distributor of ABC Allied pressroom products for Australia and New Zealand, and will also supply to Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands. G2 is offering the full ABC Allied range of consumables; filters, coatings and press care products. Its first shipment arrived in November 2013, with the products now stocked and ready to go, with the full range up on the company’s website and in a new catalogue.

Terry Mays, business development manager with G2, says he has been eyeing off the ABC Allied range for a while, with existing customers expressing interest in the brand. He tells Australian Printer, “Many of ABC Allied’s products carry FOGRA approval, which guarantees consistent batches. When you order a product from overseas sometimes batches are not always made to the same standard – but with the approved ABC products you know the quality will be the same as the last time you ordered. “For G2 Solutions winning this distributorship has been a big acquisition to our company, as we now have the ability to talk to all of our existing and new clients about this range of products. We sell not only into Australia but the Pacific islands and Papua New Guinea, so we cover a lot of territory for them. We are actually looking for distributors interstate and in New Zealand at the moment, as we also have the agency to cover NZ.” The ABC Allied products will come with full servicing and technical support from G2 for customers. Mays adds that the company is keen to grow in the area of consumables, with products that eliminate alcohol from the printing process and improve customers’ green credentials a particular specialty. G2’s range of products and services now cover the entire printing process.
