GENR8 Printing potentially up for sale

GENR8 Printing director Yianni Moratidis is contemplating the sale of his six year old business as the industry larrikin hopes to pass on the baton to a suitable industry player who can take it into the future.

Moratidis, who had no experience in the printing industry when he started the business, marvels at the memorable achievements that GENR8 Printing has experienced over the years.

“I have met a lot of people that have turned into wonderful friends and I currently work with some of the best clients anyone could ever ask for,” he said. “But for now, it’s time to pass on the baton to someone that can take this business into the future.”

Moratidis confirms that his decision to sell the business has nothing to do with financial struggles, and hopes to defuse any industry gossip of that nature.

He admits that since becoming a father to son Alexander who was born last year, he has a strong desire to embrace a new lifestyle, one in which he can spend more time, and ‘make memories’, with his son.

He says his current routine of running four different businesses, working full time from 5.30am to 7pm mainly six days a week, and playing gigs on the weekends, does not leave much time for this.

Moratidis cautions however that GENR8 Printing will only suit an existing print business, or someone looking to expand into the Newcastle market or use the premises as an extra production facility.

The new business owner will need to take over the current leases, keep the current staff employed and rent the current space for a period of 3 years minimum, he says.

The Newcastle-based business is housed in a building of approximately 290sqm in size, and offers small format, wide format and dye sublimation services to its customers.

Once it has changed hands, Moratidis anticipates that GENR8 Printing’s operations will continue as normal, and that the regular social media posts will keep flowing.

Interested parties can email Moratidis at info@genr8printing.com.au, and will receive a response within 24-48 hours.
