Heidelberg delivers its 500th Suprasetter CtP imagesetter

The Suprasetter is Heidelberg’s own development. The modular concept of the series enables users to adapt the machine precisely to their business model. It is possible to retrofit laser modules for higher plate throughput or to add single or multi cassette loaders on site at any time. All models can be integrated into the Heidelberg Prinect workflow based entirely on JDF.

The increasing demand for the Suprasetter A105 entry-level solution, which was introduced in April, mirrors the constantly high sales figures for the entire product family.

“The pleasing market success of the Suprasetter shows that Heidelberg is on the right track with its CtP strategy,” says Andreas Forer, head of Imaging Systems at Heidelberg. “The modular configurations, which grow in line with the print shops’ demands, offer our customers long-term investment security and a plate throughput adapted precisely to demand.”
