Higloss Laminating now called Allkotes Sydney West

Now called Allkotes Sydney West, the laminating and coating outfit has now moved into a new purpose-built factory which the company describes as second to none in the industry in Australia.

Allkotes CEO, Graham Wickett said the company has invested heavily in the refit of the Carnarvon St premises to make it one of the most attractive and cleanest laminating and coating plants in print finishing.

“It’s the closest set up I have ever seen to a printing plant and that includes all the laminating factories we have visited around the world,” he said.

“As for the name change, it brings the Higloss operation into line with the five other factories of Allkotes in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra and now forcefully projects the machine power and ability of Allkotes to properly service the market as a whole, from big to small, on the eastern seaboard.

“We have more than enough machine capacity, under cover loading facilities and space to handle whatever the market throws at us.

Wickett said the Allkotes Sydney Central factory at Turrella near the airport will continue to operate hand in hand with the Silverwater plant allowing the work load to be shared between both sites. This in turn offers our customers a choice depending on their needs and location.

“In the meantime it’s now full on at Allkotes Sydney West with a brilliant factory to back up our company’s reputation for service, creativity and innovation.”
