The C4PA programme collects the entire range of HP Designjet, LaserJet and inkjet cartridges with a zero waste to landfill policy. Close the Loop recycle these cartridges into usable items such as shirt buttons, plastic trays, gold and copper for electronics and miscellaneous tractor parts.
Ferrari says, “By recycling cartridges into useful items rather than having them end-up in landfill where toxins can seep into underground water tables approximately 80 million kilograms of waste has been saved over the past decade.”
HP has over 1,300 registered customers in the C4PA program, ranging from large to small businesses. Additionally, more than 2,000 collection boxes are located in Australia Post, Harvey Norman, Officeworks, Tandy and Dick Smith stores.
