Jet set for Innovation Series

Jet Technologies is set to hold its Innovations Series next week in Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland, with speakers travelling from the UK and Germany to impart their knowledge on ANZ audiences.

Dieter Niederstadt, technical marketing manager, Asahi Photoproducts, will be making the trip from Germany, while Gary Seward, managing director of Pulse Roll Label Products, is flying from the UK to give seminars on narrow web and labelling printing, and how digital and combination print is coming into play.

Sewerd will be discussing UV flexo market trends globally, and how label production is moving two ways simultaneously, increasingly embellished, and increasingly functional, including peel and read labels.

A spokesperson from Jet says, “The series will include global learnings from our international guests and industry leaders from Asahi, Pulse and Screen, and practical insights into how technology can increase operational efficiencies and produce optimal outcomes for our customers.

“The briefing sessions are a part of Jet’s commitment to the label and narrow web industries, adding value and empowering our customers to be confident in the Jet Technologies solution set.”

Peter Scott, managing director of Screen GP and Jack Malki, director of Jet will talk about practical applications, including food packaging and closed-loop colour management; improving overall equipment effectiveness on presses, creating value with digital printing and the impact of sensory packaging on consumers.

The event in Auckland will be held Monday October 15 in partnership with the Self Adhesive Label Manufacturers Association of NZ. The series will visit Sydney Wednesday October 17 at Jet’s head office in Roseberry and Melbourne will host the seminar on Thursday October 18 at the Yarra Yarra Golf Club in Bentleigh East.

Registrations are set to close soon, and can be done here.
