Konica Minolta tosses the boss

Konica Minolta Australia’s managing director Dr David Cooke participated in charity organisation Project Future’s first annual ‘Toss the Boss’ skydive.

Cooke skydived 14,000 feet over the weekend to raise money for Project Future’s end to slavery campaign, and was joined by fellow Konica colleagues Steve Davis-Raiss, Eric Holtsmark and Craig Broadbent.

Sky divers were joined by Project Future’s CEO and founder Stephanie Lorenzo, who began the campaign in a bid to fund the fight against human trafficking and slavery.

Commenting on the dive, Cooke says, “In the humanitarian category the charity partner we selected was Project Futures, we felt to make a contribution towards ending human trafficking and sex slavery was an important cause for us to support.”

“It is still very prevalent unfortunately, and our staff at Konica Minolta just wanted to make a bit of a difference that is why we got involved in this organisation.”

Cooke raised $2400 in donations to help Project Futures, alongside hundreds of other sponsors who helped reach the target.
