
The Guinness world-record -breaking veteran, who has been calling Australian horse races for 65 years, will host the ‘PICA Cup’, a phantom horse race where attendees can win “real prizes”.
The competition, which takes its theme from next week’s Melbourne Cup, will be one of many highlights of the awards ceremony.
The PICAs celebrate the craftsmanship of Victoria’s top printers, with winners moving on to compete at next year’s National Print Awards.
The event, which also be hosting a ‘fashions of the field’ event and feature the “Big City Beat” show band, will be held at Melbourne’s Sofitel on Friday 4 November.
