Light production devices offer superior reliability says Ricoh

Kathy Wilson, Ricoh Australia’s general manager of business solutions and production says, “This exciting addition to our production line up is further evidence of Ricoh’s commitment to the production printing industry, and our investment in this market.”

According to Ricoh, the Pro C720/C720S is designed to offer superior reliability in a light production environment – running at 72 pages per minute, regardless of paper weight.

The company adds that with target volumes and a duty cycle to easily cope with light production demands, the Pro C720/C720S offers superior productivity – a common feature in all of Ricoh’s production devices, particularly when combined with their range of inline finishing options.

Wilson points out that the inline finishing capabilities have strongly contributed to the success of the Pro C900, Ricoh’s flagship colour production device, and their black and white production engines.

To minimise downtime and production interruptions, the new devices incorporate Ricoh’s Trained Customer Replacement Units (TCRU), allowing customers to replace parts themselves. Users can also replenish toner while the device is running and take advantage of the extensive media input and output to optimise productivity.

Wilson adds, “The Pro C720/C720S further enhances our offering for the production printing market – with Ricoh, customers have access to a range of engines, a comprehensive suite of software solutions, plus the services and experience to support them.”
