Mimaki Australia offers free repair support for Townsville customers

Mimaki Australia is offering free technical support for customers in Townsville following the recent floods in the region.

The extreme weather event in North Queensland has significantly impacted the signage industry, with businesses in Ingham and Townsville forced to close over the past few weeks due to flooding, power outages, and damaged infrastructure.

“We understand the devastating impact the recent floods have had on businesses in Townsville, and we are committed to supporting our customers in this difficult time,” Kohei Kobayashi, managing director of Mimaki Australia, told Sprinter.

“To assist with recovery, Mimaki Australia is offering special repair support for affected customers. By offering free machine repairs, we aim to help them recover as quickly as possible and continue their operations with minimal disruption.

“Our priority is not just providing quality products but also standing by our customers when they need us the most.”

A Mimaki engineer will be on-site this week until Friday 21 February.

“At this stage, we have planned to visit only Townsville, but we can expand to other areas if necessary,” Kobayashi said.
