Murder sign company closed and up for sale

The premises of Inline National Signage – the business involved in the fatal shooting of a customer – have been shut down for good and its warehouse is listed for sale.

Inline National Signage was the scene of a deadly alteration in March which killed one man, Michael Bassal, and injured his two brothers.

The sign business owner Chantelle Strnad has since been arrested and charged with murder for ‘luring’ her customer to his death. Strnad was denied bail and her business is slated to be sold off before she faces court next month.

The 576sqm warehouse on 17 Heald Rd, Ingleburn is listed online for sale at $875,000. Calls to the warehouse are ringing out and businesses in the Ingleburn industrial park tell ProPrint there has been no movement since the owner’s criminal charges.

The agent handling the property's sale says the warehouse is still housing the wide format equipment previously operated by Inline including which included digital, vinyl and screen printing machines, but says they are looking to 'get rid' of the kit.

Inline was liquidated in 2014 but was quickly bought out by arrested owner Chantelle Strnad. A sign industry source says the business was formerly owned by Strnad’s ex-husband who sold the company to his then wife.
