No letting up for Océ product growth

The launch of the Océ CPS800 in December 2004 is the latest in Oc’s colour line up. The new machine is geared to the needs of printing professionals in corporate printrooms and commercial printshops. It has now been joined by the Océ TDS800 Pro Series wide format solution, which the company describes as the most productive wide format solution on the market.

With the CPS800, Océ believes it has kept in line with its tradition of colour excellence, saying the printer delivers consistent offset-like colour, performing reliably and productively on a wide range of media.

The printer is targeted at commercial and corporate sectors, where colour copying and printing jobs both occur in high volumes, and the printer fits in by offering a competitive cost per page rate, as well as efficient operation.

With the TDS800 Pro Series, Océ says numerous details add up to the total productivity concept. One example is the Océ Power Logic Controller, which supports true concurrency so users can continue feeding in print, copy and scan jobs while the system is operating. It can also be configured to meet virtually any demand customers may throw at it.

The Océ TDS800 printer uses the Océ Copy Press technology. The offset-like DDP (Direct Dot Positioning) technology ensures that toner is applied exactly where it is required on the paper.

With the Océ TDS800 printer, toner bottles do not need to be changed. They are simply added when needed. Nor is it necessary to clean the image corona or LED print head as with conventional printers. This has been done to underline the company’s commitment to not only provide effective solutions, but user-friendly ones as well.
