NPA entries needed by this Friday

Applications for the 33rd National Print Awards are to have their jobs into the PIAA in Chatswood by close of business this Friday, Jan 29.

National Print Awards chairwoman Susan Heaney urges anyone inspired by printing to submit their work now, as the closing date looms.

Heaney advises applicants the winning entry will be a ‘mixture of inspiration and perspiration’.

A judging panel of selected experts will judge the entries, and any Australian-based companies, individuals or associations within the graphic design and printing fields are encouraged to apply.

According to chairman of judges Luke Woolridge, this year’s theme is ‘Inspired by Paper’ and celebrates the integral role of paper in the print industry.

This year’s awards will be held in Melbourne’s Plaza Ballroom, Regent Theatre on May 20, and provides an opportunity for industry professionals around the country to network. This year there will be 23 categories, along with the inclusion of new categories design and typography.

Entries are due at the Sydney headquarters of Printing Industries in Chatswood by no later than close of business Friday January 29 to qualify.
