PacPrint exhibitors signing up

Visual Connections CEO Peter Harper says the bookings coming in for this year’s PacPrint tradeshow demonstrate not only the confidence suppliers have in the show but also their enthusiasm to showcase new technology.

Planning is now well underway for this year’s event to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from September 28 to October 1.

Currie Group and HP, Graph-Pak, Screen, Fujifilm and Fuji Xerox, Konica Minolta, Roland DG, Ferag, Bőttcher, Mutoh, Colour Graphic Services, Minipack International and Wilenco have so far signed up to exhibit.

Software and workflow management suppliers will also be well-represented, with names like Esko, PrintIQ Australia, Quote & Print Software and CERM signing up, as well as service providers like Ecolease.

As in previous years, the show will be complemented by the Visual Impact sign, display, wide-format and textile printing show. This year, it will feature EuroPoles, Mimaki, Gravotech, Aeronaut, BPG Australia, Shann Group, Elizabeth Machines, Hilton Laminating, SAled, Hexis, Velfex, and Sublimation Systems as well as many a number of those listed above.

The Label & Packaging expo is also growing with names like Rodden Graphics, Aldus and Flint coming on board.

“Events are already being successfully held around the country and that’s only set to accelerate as the year, and the vaccine roll-out, continues,” Harper said.

“Already, we’re getting an idea of how diverse the show will be, with everything from software and workflow solutions, to digital cut-sheet and wide-format output devices, label and packaging production, finishing systems, colour and quality control systems and a wide range of media and consumables.

“Being able to experience this variety of options, all under one roof, is the secret to the perennial attraction of trade shows, where the exhibition is complemented by learning and networking opportunities and the chance to celebrate our industry together,” he adds, referencing the popular PacPrint seminars and the National Print Awards and ASGA/FESPA Australia HP Awards, which will be held during the show.
