Agfa will be one of the major exhibitors at PacPrint13, with a large stand in excess of 500m, reflecting the company’s strong commitment to the graphic arts industry, says managing director Mark Brindley.
The stand will showcase Agfa’s latest developments in pre-press, sign and display technologies. They include the Avalon N8 platesetter, the Jeti Titan production UV inkjet printer with flat-to-roll option, and the Apogee 8 suite of workflow solutions.
On display next to its Titan sibling will be the Jeti 1224 FTR. Agfa says this is one of the fastest photorealistic display graphics printers available, capable of 91m per hour in express mode and 23m per hour in high-quality mode. It offers in-line white and the optional flat-to-roll for its full 2.43-metre width.
Apogee Store Front, a cloud-based web-to-print solution for printers to create and manage online stores for offset and digital print, will be demonstrated on the stand.
The Anapurna range of printers, including the M 1600 UV curable inkjet system and the Anapurna M4F wide-format industrial inkjet printers for indoor and outdoor signs and displays, will take
a significant share of the booth.
