Power 50 voting closes Friday

Voting for the ProPrint Power 50 is heading into its last week, where printers can pick who they think has been the most influential and innovative people in print for 2017.

The poll will close on November 3 at 5pm ADST.

The ProPrint Power 50 is the annual opportunity for printers to vote for those of their peers they believe have led the industry forward during the year through their innovation and or influence. These could come in their approach to market, their use of technology, their workplace relations and management style, their lobbying, their acquisition strategy, any way that they have led the company forward and broken new ground.

Wayne Robinson, editor for ProPrint says “Printers are dealing with the most turbulent period in the industry’s history. Doing nothing is not an option, if you stand still you are going backwards. However week by week we see printers around the country innovating and moving forward, and these awards seek to recognise those who are leading not only their own businesses, but having an influence on the industry itself, through their vision and energy.

“The Power 50 is not about who is the biggest, but who has had influence and who has shown innovation, which often comes from smaller players.”

This year’s Power 50 is sponsored by Fuji Xerox, HP, Konica Minolta and Ricoh. This year’s winner and the top 50 will be announced at a prestigious event at Sydney’s harbour on November 30.
