Pozitive confirms new swissQprint Nyala 5 showing at PacPrint25

Phil Trumble, managing director of Pozitive sign & graphic supplies, has confirmed the newly launched swissQprint Nyala 5 flatbed will be on show for the Australian market at PacPrint25 in May.

Officially launched globally this week, the Generation 5 series is based on the high-end Kudu, and presents the new Nyala 5 and Impala 5 printers.

The Kudu, Nyala 5, and Impala 5 form a line-up that is 23 per cent faster than the previous generation, offering a top speed of 341 m²/h.

The new flatbed models will be on show at upcoming trade events, including C!Print Madrid, which is on this week, as well as the FESPA Global Print Expo in Berlin in May.

“Our Nyala 5 will be in our showroom in April, and we will officially launch it to the Australian market at PacPrint, so those who aren’t travelling to FESPA Berlin this year will still be able to see it here in Australia very soon,” Trumble told Sprinter.

“swissQprint has put a significant amount of work into new machinery over the past 10 years; however, a lot of these advancements were ‘under the hood’. The new Generation 5 series is a big leap forward in terms of giving the end user significant changes and advancements in technology.

“Some of our biggest opportunities for Generation 5 will be from our existing swissQprint users – because they already know and love the technology and the reliability.

“This now gives them a big step up in terms of performance and quality – even beyond what people would have thought is imaginable.”

Trumble said swissQprint is “renowned for being extremely versatile”, with the Gen 5 flatbeds ideal for a wide range of applications, including sign, graphics, industrial applications and production printing.

Recently, Pozitive sign & graphic supplies relocated to a larger facility at Emu Plains in western Sydney.

The new facility provides several new upgrades, including a larger, state-of-the-art showroom designed to accommodate more product demonstrations, customer events, and hands-on training sessions.

PacPrint25 will be taking place at the Sydney Showgrounds Dome, Halls 2 and 3, from 20-23 May, and will be co-located with Visual Impact Sydney and the Label and Packaging Expo.
