Rockwiz star to host National Print Awards

The first invitations to the event were emailed from NPA headquarters during the week, with more circulating the industry over coming days, and organisers are encouraging everyone to register for what is unquestionably the industry’s night of nights.

Adding to the event’s attraction this year will be the appearance of Julia Zemiro, well-known television presenter, radio host, actor, singer and comedian, who will host the Awards.

Perhaps best known by many for her role as host of the SBS RocKwiz show, Julia will not only add to the night’s entertainment with her inimitable comedic style, but probably have plenty to add to the Greatest Hits theme with her vast – and quirky – musical knowledge.

John Wanless, NPA chairman says, “As well as being a chance to recognise the very best work produced by our industry in any year, the National Print Awards presentation is also well known as a night of fun and celebration, and we’re delighted that Julia, who is so well known and loved for her lively personality, will be joining us for the evening.”

“We’re sure that Julia will have her own special take on our industry’s Greatest Hits and look forward to the special element she’ll add to what is already promising to be a great night of celebration and fine dining.

“With Julia’s involvement, together with a magnificent three-course dinner at the beautiful Palladium Ballroom at Melbourne’s Crown Casino, this year’s National Print Awards presentation dinner is the perfect opportunity to recognise the achievements of the industry’s best performers and to catch up with colleagues and friends from around the industry,” he adds, pointing out that it also represents excellent value for money at $160 a head – a price which organisers have held steady now for four years[R1] .

“Already, bookings are starting to come in for the night and, now that people know Julia will be hosting, we’re expecting interest to be even higher, so I’d encourage anyone who is interested in a great night out – and the chance to catch up with their industry mates – to book a seat, or a table, as soon as possible.”

Reservations can be made by filling out the booking form on one of the Invitations currently circulating the industry, by going to www.nationalprintawards.com.au or by calling Mandy Palmer at Printing Industries on (03) 8541-7310.
