Roland and Ryobi on IPP

The Roland 500 is aimed at the high speed half format market, it prints from 0.04mm up to a full 1mm at 18,000sph. Printers now have a choice of B2 presses from Roland, with the R500, the multipurpose convertible R300 and the entry level R200. IN the A3 market has no press, but IPP has just signed an agreement with Ryobi agent Agfa Graphic Systems to co-market its A3 presses here, Mr Hansen said, “Cleary as the MAN Roland supplier we have a lot to offer both Ryobi and the print community.”

First outing for GSA

The IPP stand was actually shared with GSA, IPP’s new pre-press and consumables company, which was clearly revelling in the opportunity to show the market its range of Fuji products. Along with a full range of Fujifilm Brilla plates GSA is also supplying the Fuji hardware, which includes the Luxel CTP systems, Quattro scanners, and digital workflow. Luxel platesetters are available as thermal or visible light.
