Roland DG offering advanced rip courses

Roland DG will run courses for its VersaWorks Advanced rip software starting next month, to ensure its customers can take full advantage of the company’s printers.

According to Roland DG the comprehensive one-day courses, which cost $299 per person, are designed to improve print quality, refine production processes, develop workflow efficiencies and enhance overall commercial performance and suitable for any printers who are new to Roland DG equipment, or existing users wanting to learn advanced processes.

Topics include print environment and calibration; colour management; managing and fine-tuning profiles; advanced production techniques and tips; workflow automation; new features in the latest version of VersaWorks including built in Pantone libraries; and maintenance tips.

Marketing team leader Jake Higgins says: “The VersaWorks Advanced training course is designed to give users the tools and knowledge needed to take full advantage of the many capabilities of their Roland devices.”

“Attendees will learn how to improve print quality, develop workflow efficiencies and enhance overall commercial performance.”

The courses will run in Sydney on March 27, June 26 and September 25; Melbourne on May 1, August 7 and November 20; and Brisbane on July 17, with other locations to be announced.

Roland DG aims to keep courses at an intimate size of about 15-20 to facilitate an interactive learning environment.

Those interested can register at Roland DG’s website and will get a 10 per cent discount if they pay at least two weeks before their selected session.
